Seasonal Produce Guide What’s in Season December

Fruits and vegetables always taste better when they are in season, harvested at the peak of their freshness. Eating seasonal means not only eating fresh foods that are packed with nutrients but also means savings in the family budget.

To make it easier for you to plan your meals and make a grocery list, I created this seasonal produce guide. It's created to inspire you to eat healthily throughout the whole month. You will also find plenty of recipe ideas featuring fruits and vegetables in season.

Winter is fast approaching and many people think that farmer's market doesn't offer much fresh produce at this time of year. This thinking is completely wrong. Markets are now loaded with winter fruits and veggies. Pomegranates, citrus fruits, fresh cabbages, and beautiful greens. There's plenty of colors on the market shelves.

Here is a list of all the fruits and veggies that are in season in December. Looking for recipe ideas? Just click on the links below and grab all the inspiration you need to cook healthy throughout the month.

    Vegetables in season in December
