In summer 2014. I was literally on an edge, emotionally and physically. My stressful job, unhealthy lifestyle and unhealthy eating habits led me to total disaster. I was obese, unhappy and physically sick. I needed to change my life FAST or I knew I’ll end up in a hospital.

I decided it’s time to CHANGE my eating habits and my lifestyle. I started to learn about healthy food and experimenting with healing spices. I’ve started eating REAL, WHOLE FOODS and give up all the processed meat, added unhealthy refined sugars, store-bought food and anything processed. It was pretty drastic change for me at that time but it was the only way to get my life back. Also I started WALKING, doing yoga, and lead more active lifestyle.

In just six months, I restored back my energy and I started to feel amazing. Also, I’ve started losing weight which restored back my confidence. In year and half I’ve lost 110 POUNDS (50 kg or 7.8 STONES). Yes it’s pretty unbelievable, but for me the biggest accomplishment is my complete lifestyle change.

I’m HEALTHIER and HAPPIER person today. I feel great! This new healthy lifestyle really healed me.

I’ve learned so much on this healthy journey. Since I couldn’t stop talking about it, my husband convinced me to start blogging and share all of this information with others worldwide. That’s how I started writing this blog. I wish to show you that healthy food is delicious and that you can lose weight and be happy and healthy again. My blog posts are a mix of recipes, my personal experiences and helpful tips on a range of issues and themes around healthy living.

Healthy eating is absolutely not about dieting and starvation, It’s about embracing a healthy way of life. My mission with this blog is to promote GOOD HEALTH with WHOLE FOODS and ACTIVE LIFE.

Recipes I share are very classic type that I tweak to include more nutritious, wholesome ingredients, reduce fat or use better fats and sugar alternatives.

With every recipe I try to improve the nutritional value of the meal without compromising the taste. In my posts you will also find info about nutritional and health benefits of the ingredients included in recipes. I write all that to encourage you to want to learn more about the nutritional value of the food you are eating, to be informed and to encourage you to think about what food you eat.


Photography was always one of my biggest love. I use to practice amateur photography many years ago while I was still in college. After graduation I started to pursue my business career and I suppress my love for photography. I was telling myself I don’t have time for that. And I actually didn’t. Until this blog. This blog enabled me to revive my passion for photography and to find new love – food photography.
