Motivation Monday #8

Happy Monday peeps !!! ;) How was your weekend? Did you recharge your batteries? Are you ready for another busy week ahead us? :) For me, Monday came a bit too quickly. I was busy busy busy. But regardless of the hectic schedule that I had this weekend, I was still able to relax, and I feel quite ready for this week's challenges.

Today I won't blab too much. I think my motivational quote is quite straightforward. It speaks for itself.

When people hear my story how I lost 100+ pounds with healthy eating and how I started my healthy lifestyle, they always ask me the same question - how I overcome the craving for unhealthy junk food. And I feel like they just don't believe me when I say that it was hard in the beginning, but nothing unbearable. And that soon my new healthier diet become very "normal" to me and I just stopped craving all junk food. What I realized is that you need to change your mindset and don't create restrictions. Don't just tell yourself you CAN'T have something because it's full of unhealthy fat or sugars. Instead, ask yourself is this food healthy for you. Is it nutritious? How it gonna affect you in the long term. Will it contribute to your health?

Think about whether you want to charge your body with unhealthy fats and unhealthy sugary food. How you gonna feel after you eat that junk food, physically. Do you think your stomach, pancreas, intestines and other organs will be super pleased when you burden them with all that junk? It's not healthy for your body. Fact. It will affect your health in future. Fact. It's a bad choice. Fact.

The change from super unhealthy to super healthy is a process. And it is quite challenging in the beginning. To make that process easier, just replace "I can't have that" into "I DON'T WANT THAT". And don't think you are just fooling yourself with that thought. The truth is that you really don't want all that junk food in your body. It just takes time to get used to new eating habits. Soon your body will show you that you made a right choice. It will reward you with overall good feeling and lots of energy. You will see that this decision is good for you and will ultimately make you healthier and happier.

Stay strong ;) Till next Monday...

Love,
