Creamy and refreshing Cantaloupe Peach Smoothie is a must try if you like fruity flavours. This smoothie has NO ADDED SUGARS, and packed with HEALTHY fibers and proteins, vitamins, heart-healthy fats, and minerals. Delicious immunity booster, perfect for breakfast or midday snack.
Do you FEEL the summer vibes?! I totally DO! The farmer's market looks like children coloring book... it's filled with beautiful colours of seasonal fruits and veggies. I love spring and early summer because of that. I THANK beautiful nature for that.
Since spring strawberries popping out on store shelves like crazy (it's a peak season here), it's no wonder that I'm obsessed with strawberries. I just can't say NO to that beautiful fruit. I'm weak and a sucker for delicious Strawberry Banana Muffins... and this flavourful Strawberry Smoothie Bowl. Can you blame me?!
BUT recently summer fruits - like watermelons, peaches, apricots, cantaloupes... started to grab more and more of my attention. OMG, honestly... who could resist such delightfulness! And I know it's not summer yet, but I HAD to whip up something summery and thus open a summer season on my blog... So here it is, a creamy, dreamy Cantaloupe Peach Smoothie.
This Cantaloupe Peach Smoothie is so rich, so creamy, so amazingly thick and bursting with flavors. It's sweet and aromatic, and you would probably think now "AND full of calories"... but you're WRONG on that one. This smoothie is super HEALTHY and super low on calories.
And it's not just some plain boring fruity smoothie. It's a full meal. Yup. You can whip up this beauty in a minute, with just a few ingredients and enjoy in fullness for few hours. It's loaded with dietary fibers, plant-based proteins, and heart-healthy fats. Everything you need to start the day. Also, it's packed with vitamins and many essential minerals like magnesium, potassium, and iron. Mega healthy!
Cantaloupe Peach Smoothie is unbelievably refreshing when is made with frozen fruits. That's why I used the frozen banana, peach, and cantaloupe slices before whipping up this smoothie. If you are in a hurry and you don't have refrigerated or prepared frozen fruits, you can just add a couple of ice cubes into a smoothie mixture. It's actually a neat trick to cool out any smoothie.
Cantaloupe is, besides watermelon my favorite summer fruit... ok ok ... veggie. It's packed with dietary fibers excellent for our digestion and loaded with vitamin C and vitamin A - both very important for our immunity, skin and hear. Cantaloupe is also rich in essential vitamin B-6, and many minerals.
To make this smoothie, in addition to fragrant refreshing cantaloupe, I used soft and sweet fresh peach. I also added a few cashews. Cashews enriched this Cantaloupe Peach Smoothie with proteins and healthy fats, but also with many important minerals - magnesium that is good for our heart and muscles, iron and potassium. I upgraded smoothie even more with adding a super healthy chia seeds - rich in fibers, proteins, and heart-healthy fats.
This smoothie contains NO ADDED sugars. It's naturally sweetened with ripe banana. To spice up the smoothie a bit, I used warm fragrant vanilla and a bit of ginger which enriched entire smoothie with the lovely aroma.
Why I LOVE Cantaloupe Peach Smoothie so much?
Because it is ...
- made with fresh fruits and veggies and thus loaded with nutrients,
- rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium, calcium, and iron,
- full of high-quality dietary fibers that promote good digestion and weight loss,
- naturally sweetened with ripe banana, so it contains NO ADDED SUGARS,
- enriched with healing spice - GINGER,
- full of antioxidants and beta-carotene important for strengthening our immune system,
- antibacterial and anti-inflammatory,
- good for heart health, skin and hair,
- gluten-free, vegan, dairy free,
- perfect breakfast or midday snack.
And now tell me, isn't this Cantaloupe Peach Smoothie perfect for summer enjoyment or what!? Hope you'll LOVE it all summer long, just like me!
Enjoy!
