    Motivation monday #3

    Happy Monday peeps !!! ;)

    Hope you all had a great weekend. Did you recharge your batteries? Are you ready for the week ahead? I sure did. I'm super ready :)

    This weekend I remembered how I started my healthy lifestyle >> you can read the full story here. It was summer two years ago. I was laying on my couch, fat, unhealthy, depressed, watching extreme makeovers. I fantasized about how my life would be if only I had strength to change my life that way.  And just when I saw myself skinnier, healthier, happier, a palm called low self-esteem slapped me, returning me into despair and self-pity. I thought I couldn't make that change. A bowl of cookies that were there in front of me was the answer. But then the voice appeared in my head. A tiny, quiet voice but somehow strong, telling me I don't have to be a slave to those cookies and such feelings. If I just don't eat those cookies, I have already started the change. The voice was right! I just needed to initiate that change.

In the beginning, I didn't know exactely what I need to do, but I knew that if I replace one bad habit with a healthier one, in the long term positive change will happen. Since then, every day I worked on that change. I believed in myself. And two years later, here I am, 100 pounds lighter, healthier, happier :) And that's not all. I changed my family lives as well. We all eat and live healthier now. I'm slowly changing lives around people I know, and new people I meet. I'm also trying to help you guys with writing this blog. And all that makes me immensely happy. Beyond my wildest dreams :)

    So today, my message goes to all of you, who are trapped in negative thoughts and don't trust yourself. The message is clear. Just START THE CHANGE! If you don't make that change, nothing will change in your life. You have the power and strength! You can do it! Find that little tiny voice in your head and listen to him ;) 

    Monday is just the perfect day to start that lifestyle change. Implement one healthier decision every Monday. That change will have an impact on your health in future. In the long run, you WILL feel healthier, you WILL look better, you WILL feel better, and be happier. Remember, a little progress each day adds up to big results.
