Close the lid and let the mixture sit for 14-18 hours at room temperature (or 20-24 hours in refrigerator).
Strain the mixture using strainer and cheesecloth or coffee filter. If you're using french press just press the mash down.
To make cold brew Iced Coffee:
Fill a big glass or mason jar with ice.
Using cold brewed coffee, fill the glass about half full.
Add cold water (to dilute coffee concentrate, if desired).
Add milk (amount to your liking).
Stir in sweetener - maple syrup or honey (not raw), if using.
Keep leftovers of strained cold brewed concentrate in a closed jar refrigerated up to 5 days.FOR DECAF: Use decaf coffee. Cold Brew Coffee Ratio: Recommended ratio is 1:4 or 1:5.
