Creamy Cherry Chocolate Smoothie made without added sugar, very nutritious and super HEALTHY, loaded with antioxidants. Also, low-calorie, vegan and gluten free.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cherries , pitted and frozen
  • 1 banana , ripe and frozen
  • 2 tablespoons raw cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
  • 1 teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1 cup water , or ice
  • Topping: raw cocoa beans, ground flax seed

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients in the blender and mix until well combined. If necessary, add some water or ice cubes to get a smoothie desired consistency.
  2. Sprinkle with crushed raw cocoa beans and ground flax seeds.

Recipe Notes

As a measure, I used a cup of 240 ml (UScup).
