Motivation monday #5

Hi, guys! Happy new week to you all!

It’s motivational Monday again. It’s time to get you inspired and boosted for the new week ahead. How was your weekend?!

My weekend was busy slash relaxing. Friday was non-working day in Croatia. We celebrated Croatian Independence Day with big family BBQ gathering. Was really fantastic time, until the big storm driven us from the backyard :D As many felt great about non-working Friday, I was completely knocked out of my weekly 5-day work routine. So I had to work on Sunday, and than I worked a bit more on Sunday. And today is Monday, and I feel like it's already a Wednesday :D This is going to be a looong week for me I think ;)

Last few week was quite stressful for me. I'm under a lot of pressure. Ther's so much stuff going on in my life right now and my body naturally reacts to that stress with an insatiable hunger. It makes no sense to deny the body that extra energy it needs to fight with stress. Denying would only create even greater stress and anxiety. So I just surrounded myself with a bunch of healthy snacks - energy bites, protein bars, fresh fruits, whole wheat crackers, yoghurts, nuts and seeds, that I can have whenever I need it, until I solve situation that causes the stress. Althou I'm well aware that this hunger is driven and coused by stress, I'm somehow pleased with the fact that I don't stress eat the junk food. I'm simply working on solving the problem that causes my stress, and in meanwhile I enjoy eating healthy snacks and I exercise which helps my body to deal with the crisis.

We can't really control everything that happens in our lives, but we certainly can control what we eat and choose the food which we fuel our bodies. And that's my motivation for you guys today. Regardless of how you feel and with what crisis you deal right now in your life, don't feed negative emotions and stress with junk food. Surround yourself with healthy foods, fill refrigerators with fresh fruits and veggies, and prepare quick, healthy snacks. Help your body to overcome the crisis and stress in a healthier way. This decision is entirely yours. You control that part of your life yourself. Remember, everything you eat affects how you gonna feel tomorrow, the day after tomorrow or in a year. Therefore I encourage you to think what you eat and to make the right decision - too choose to eat healthily!

I send you lots of kisses. Be brave throughout all the problems and obstacles in life ;) Till next Monday...

Love,
