Be inspired with this weeks Motivation Monday quote!
Hey, peeps :) Happy new week all! YES, it's Monday (again hehe) AND the last day of July. OMG, can you believe that?! That July just flew past us, right. How was your last week? Did you exercise daily, eat healthy all week? How was your weekend?
You know how I'm always super busy. Well, last week I was semi-productive. That's such a rare thing going on in my life. But sometimes it happens to me. I do get drained from time to time, and on Friday I just mentally collapsed. My brain stopped working. So I took the day off. But I didn't spend it leisuring. No way. I was doing CLEANING. Don't know about you, but when I'm mentally tired, cleaning helps me relax and get better. I decluttered my office room, get rid of all unnecessary stuff (since we're moving in T-15 days, I needed to get that done anyway)... It was a day-off from the internet. It felt amazing. It felt so good that I decided to continue that off-internet thing for the whole weekend. Yup. I did it! I highly suggest you try it too sometimes.
But before my cleaning spree, I did publish Motivation Monday #19 like I do every Monday. Also, I did a post about SUGAR CRAVING where I talked about my sugar addiction and how I managed to get rid of it. Because of the brain shut down, I skipped publishing the new recipe. Buuu... BUT I did eat healthy all week, and I did my yoga workouts all week (my back still hurts me, so I skipped running). I did run yesterday, but only half an hour. It's hot as hell here.
So, last week I talked about sugar cravings, and after publishing, I’ve had many people contact me again for advice on lifestyle changes. It seems like sugar is a HUGE problem. But for some, it's not just the sugar. It's overall understanding of a healthy lifestyle. It seems to me that although everyone values health, not everyone has health as a top priority. Most people wait for that wake-up call to begin taking health more seriously. Well, I was somehow the same.
Now when I remember how badly I treated my body, I just shake my head. I wonder how did my body serve me so well for so many years. Changing my lifestyle was the best decision I ever make. I reminded about that every day when I wake up fit, healthy, energetic, confident, accomplished, HAPPY... Most of all not like a lazy couch potato! ... and the list goes on! I never valued my health, and I didn’t love myself enough to live a healthy lifestyle. But now I DO. Me today compared to me back then is total opposition. And I intend to keep it that way.
My motivation message for today is to love yourself enough to turn getting healthy into fuel for what is currently your top priority in life. Make healthier choices and eat healthy every day, exercise and always think POSITIVE. And definitely smile more. We need more smiles in our lives.
Hugs and kisses. See you next Monday!
Xoxo,
Natalie

Yes, it's so important for people to realize that it's not about "dieting" it's about making lifestyle changes. This means that nothing drastic should be done that you couldn't do for the rest of your life! I like to eat whole, nutritious foods in proper portions 6 days per week and then let myself have some treats one day per week or every other week sometimes :)

Love this! What a great way to encourage people to just take the step of getting healthy!
